Everything ends...except 365 Monsters!

Greetings monster lovers!
So it seems that it has been WAY too long since I've posted here. I hope you're still out there aboard the iiiiiiinnnterrnet!
Tonight I'm taking a new approach that I've been working on for my facebook artist's page. I have a commissioned monsterized pet portrait under way. I'm posting the step-by-step on facebook and thought the 365 Monsters readers would enjoy seeing it too.
I hope you do!

Gamgam Rizzleshmidt is one of those inspirational creatures that humans rarely hear about. He delights in the downfall of societies, traversing alternate realities to annihilate interdimensional targets, dancing on the souls of unscrupulous food servers, and he also crafts his own delicious batches of homebrew in his garage.
Someday Gamgam would like to have his own pair of custom made lederhosen.

As I heard it, a carny and an evil ringmaster got into a scrap one day (back in the old days when circus and carny folk had true honor). They fought and struggled for a very long time. In the end the ringmaster called in the clowns and won. With his last breath, the carny cursed the ringmaster...he would walk the earth as all the pieces of a circus for the rest of his unnatural days.

This is one gnarly mean looking monster lady. The life of a troll suits her well.

Heather woke up in the middle of the night. She looked at the closet, rubbed her eyes, and went back to sleep. Everything felt all snuggly, safe, and sound knowing the little man in the closet was only a dream.
The little purple man in the closet sighed with relief. he'd made it one more night without being discovered for real.

Gordon looked down at you in the same sorry way he always does.
It wouldn't matter if you are an enormous tentacled destroyer of cities and eater of souls. The captain of all demons looks up to no one. On top of that he is always lit with an eerie upward glow.

Just imagine the sound that this thing makes!
Ooh, what was that rustling outside in the bushes? Are you actually still just sitting there?

Magic paint is an awful substance. My once true and obedient brush is now transformed in to a cruel she-beast with an insatiable appetite for wet paint and shiny clean fingers! Good luck finishing the paint in the basement now!

How's your garden? Looking green and leafy?
Be wary of vegetable plants that grow anything long and green...they might not be what you expect. Beans might bite, cucumbers chomp, and hot peppers prick.

Young vampires prowl the countryside in search of prey. When the sun begins to rise, they see an end to their fun and scream as if it's their last. Tomorrow will have to wait.

The townsfolk had always followed the rules...until today. I think they'd be sorry if they still existed. Evil deities always get the last word.

It is the near future and Golden Smashbot is all that remains of a once great society of killer robots from outer space. Now that he is all that is left, no one can stand in the way of his metallic smashy glory!

Humans are normally monster prey but here one of us has gone another way and smashed up some squiggly squiddy guys and become the real monster. Such violence!

I've used the same ink bottle to create nearly every single monster chronicled here in this blog. When I walked into the studio tonight I found that the ink had taken on a hideous and evil form of its own. As I backed out of the studio I kept my eyes on the rallying ink monsters and focused my sights on survival.

Some creatures in this world are so well adapted that they can camouflage themselves into any environment. But the eyes are always true. Why else do you think you search the inky darkness for 2 tiny reflections?
