Cuddly cousins of iguanas bred with koalas and formed a new species. Purple Guanolas still love to eat eucalyptus leaves and seem to enjoy many other varieties too. They have also developed a fondness for swimming and have taken to swimming across large bodies of water to get to new food sources. At last count they have been breeding in record numbers and are projected to overtake the human population of the southern hemisphere by 2016.

Had the dinosaurs evolved into something related to our modern day chickens they might have ended up looking like this. They would also be smart, powerful, huge, and highly evolved. Sadly, they would also be shy and hide in shame because they never invented clothing.

Many vacationers this year were unaware of recent sightings of a giant leaping octopus seen on the coasts of Australia, Hawaii, and Long Beach Island. Thanks in part to a multitude of warnings from rogue salty-dog boat captains, inland trips are skyrocketing.
